Respect for copyright

Pack Leader Dogs respects copyright and expects anyone supplying material for our websites to do the same. This policy applies to our website and guide pages. It describes how to raise a copyright concern; it does not limit fair use or other rights provided by law.

Send a copyright notice

Email info@packleaderdogs.com with the subject "Copyright notice." Please provide:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or someone authorized to act for the owner.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed. For multiple works, a representative list is acceptable.
  3. The exact URL of the material on our services and enough detail for us to locate it.
  4. Your name and contact information, including a postal address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.

Consider whether the material is licensed, in the public domain or permitted by an exception such as fair use before making a claim. Knowingly making a material misrepresentation can have legal consequences. Do not include unrelated sensitive information.

How we handle a notice

We review notices, may request missing information and may remove or restrict access to material while investigating. Where appropriate, we notify the person who supplied the material and share the notice so that person can respond. We may restrict repeat infringers' ability to supply material in appropriate circumstances. Our contact details are also available at Contact.

If your material was removed in error

You can contact us at the same email address with the subject "Copyright counter-notice." A counter-notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act should include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material removed or disabled and its location before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the removal or restriction resulted from a mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address and telephone number; a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is located, or, if you are outside the United States, a judicial district where the service provider may be found; and a statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the notice or that person's agent.

We may forward a counter-notice, including its contact information, to the original complainant. Where the statutory DMCA process applies, restoration can occur after the applicable waiting period, generally 10 to 14 business days after receipt of a valid counter-notice, unless we receive notice of a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement. Restoration is not automatic when other lawful reasons require the material to remain unavailable.
