The Maddie Ranch is kept by a full team of trained dog professionals, on site day and night. Some teach. Some keep the days of the Club in motion. All of them chose dogs as the work of their life.
Two roles at the ranch.
Professional Dog Trainer
Our trainers practice the Pack Leader Method beside Steve Del Savio: dog psychology first, obedience after. The work moves between the residencies at the lodge, Private Sessions at the ranch and the weekly sessions that teach each owner what their dog has learned.
Experience with dogs comes first; so does the calm, steady energy a pack will follow. The rest we teach.
Dog Care Professional
Care professionals carry the daily life of the ranch: The Canine Social Club's days in the woods, the care of dogs in residence at the lodge, exercise, handling and the unhurried attention that makes a stay feel like home.
The path is structured. In your first month you complete our onboarding and learn the foundations of dog psychology. By three months you are working in the Club and residency care under supervision; by six, with growing independence and a clear route onward, including into training for those who want it.
Compensation runs $18 to $25 per hour, with paid time off and an employee discount. Experience with dogs and a driver's license are required. The schedule includes weekends and holidays; the pack keeps no office hours.
